Participants exercise, take water aerobics, free swim and weight lift at the Jewish Community Center. Bachman Recreation Center also serves as an outlet for fitness needs. The majority of our participants play Special Olympics sports year-round, such as basketball, softball and bowling. They attend professional sporting events, musical concerts and events in their community. They also attend social dances provided by the ARC of Dallas for people with special needs. Camp Summit has always provided services to our participants through their summer recreational camp program and now through their new A.C.O.R.N. day program.
